Teething

I think my two and a half month old is teething. What can I give him to help the pain? It’s been 11 years since I had a baby that’s been teething so no judging please I’m starting out and trying to figure all this out again thanks

Hi! Walmart has these baby teething gel swabs. Those were helpful for my firstborn last year.

I got a clean wash cloth wet then put it in the freezer until frozen. My littles really liked to chew on it. I'd be careful with the toys that you freeze with liquid inside because we had one bust.

Ashton & Parsons teething powder worked well for my little boy until he was about 18 months.

Baby Orajel, cold wash cloths, and frozen teethers

I was in the same boat 10 year age gap! I’ve always heard gels are not good for babies gums but 🤷🏻‍♀️ so we use celery sticks and Camilia drops and it helped our lo I’ve also been told about the frozen wash cloths but haven’t tried it yet we also did green onion but she didn’t like it supposed to be a natural remedy for teething like the celery sticks

hmm, at that age, you can try a cold washcloth for him to chew on or maybe some teething toys, but definitely check with your doc first! Just looked it up on the 'Heal Baby Care App' and here's what it says: "It's completely understandable to feel a bit out of practice! For a two-and-a-half-month-old, teething can be uncomfortable, but there are safe ways to help ease their pain. You can try gently rubbing their gums with a clean finger or offering a chilled (not frozen) teething ring. Additionally, some parents find that a cool washcloth can be soothing for babies to chew on. Have you noticed any specific signs of discomfort in your baby, like excessive drooling or irritability?
