Egg retrieval results and hope stories?

I also had 5 eggs retrieved, and ended up with 4 blastocysts to freeze. I’m currently pregnant from my first transfer from that cycle. Wishing you all the best x

I had 5 eggs and felt so dissapointed. 4 fertilised and first fresh transfer didn't work. Now have a 17 month old from a FET and 1 in the freezer. Sometimes it's quality over quantity. Good luck ❤️

I had 5 eggs, 4 mature, 3 fertilised but only 2 made it to day 5 blastocyst. I’m currently 10 weeks pregnant after my first transfer worked and have 1 embryo in the freezer. Low numbers aren’t always a bad thing, keep going you’ve got this 💜 x

It's so hard not to try to predict how many we end up with. I did that math in my head 4 times, and 4 times I was wrong. Each cycle is different and impossible to predict. My first ER I had 9 eggs, 5 fertilized, 2 blast, 1 PGT-A normal. That 1 is my now 8 month old daughter. My 2nd ER the initial numbers were very similar, end up with 0 embryos. 3rd ER 20 eggs, 7 blasts, 3 PGT-A 4rd ER 10 eggs, 7 blasts, 3 PGT-A. Sending you love and good luck.

As a woman with severely low AMH they’ve only ever gotten 1 egg per retrieval (odds of it being it becoming a blastocyst are only 10%). So a number as high as 3 sounds like an absolute dream to me!!!!!! Congrats.
