Carseat
Does anyone’s baby absolutely hate the carseat? She cries the whole time to the point to sweating. We live in Georgia and it’s going to get warm soon so this worries me with overheating. This prevents me from really going out unless I absolutely need to. She won’t take a paci either. We’ve tried:
- Happy Song
- switching cars with my husband
- convertible carseat
- putting photos of mom and dad on the seat
- having someone sit in the back with her
- holding her hand
- feeding & burping before being put in
- toys
- chiropractor
I’m willing to try anything. Advice is greatly appreciated. 😭 Here’s a very rare photo of her sleeping in it. 🥲

O, never mind. I just read that you have tried that. Hmmm, not sure then. Maybe you could ask pediatrician for advice.
You’re not alone 🩵 we’re in the same boat with our LO right now. Unless he’s right about to take a nap before we put him in, he’ll cry until he’s sweating too. We’ve tried so much. Most recently we tried putting the baby Einstein fish tank in the backseat and it helps a bit but not much. I’ve been reading it’s a fairly normal thing for this age and they’ll grow out of it but it’s hard for sure.

You might not like this, but it may be worth a try…. I had my baby October 2024. I’m in an October 2024 group on Facebook. Some of the other moms have had trouble with their babies not liking the car seat as well. Something that helped some of their babies has been switching them to a convertible car seat. Some babies don’t like the position they’re in, in an infant carrier car seat. A convertible car seat puts in a different position. Also, hi 👋. I’m in Georgia too. I’m in Oakwood, by Gainesville.
