Maybe look into cheaper areas? Do you have family that can watch the baby while you work?
@Leslie there aren't really any cheaper areas in the city i live in and if I move I'll have no family to help. Right now I have someone that could watch her afternoons Monday, Thursday and Friday but I would need to work full time so that doesn't work. My brother just searched and searched for months and found a 2 bedroom basement suite for $1400CAD and that's about the average. Here that's 1 paycheck if you have a job paying $25 đź’”. This is why I don't think I could make it work
hey they’re rent subsidy from the government, sounds like we live in the same area. they’re places you can get help like YWCA.
It’s not abnormal to feel out of wack after having a baby, at six months you are still not fully at your hormonal baseline. I’ve felt this way in the past . I don’t know much about your situation but really take this into consideration. But back to your question , Life is definitely hard and super expensive , the only option I would see feasible that I could think of would be to reside with a relative or friend until you are able to save enough money to afford a home/housing ….. or go to a women’s shelter and the government will be able to offer you assistance with housing.
