Hospital provide towels but the towels were only the small ones they wrap baby in when they are born so they weren’t big ones I had a body shower but didn’t wash my hair
I took full advantage of the shower chair and used hospital towels. Ik some ppl want to bring a comfy towel but like if you aren't spending the whole time curled up in the towel it's unnecessary. I just asked for more towels and then braided my hair back wet
I was in for 3 days during a heatwave so had to wash my hair. I took my own towels as I didn’t like the hospitals ones and I let it air dry after being in a towel for 15/20 mins. I usually twist it and put it up in a clip so it dries curly
I took a blow dryer and stood in the passage outside the ward and plugged it in and did my hair. Used phone as a mirror lol
I washed my hair in hospital as after 24hr labour my hair was literally the greasiest its ever been in my life. Straight after birth when i had my first shower. I brought my own big towel. I’m in UK and they never provided me or the baby with a towel. And I just let it airdry, it was a mess but at least it was clean 😀
I had a really long and traumatic birth. Made the mistake of having my hair in a messy bun before I went into labour so as you can imagine after 3 days of labour my hair was extremely matted. I was emotionally and physically drained and just wanted to be in my own home so didn't bother showering and washing my hair until I got home. My one bit of advice to any mum going into labour, tie your hair up in a ponytail or in a plait to try and keep it from getting knotty, will save you so much time afterwards haha
The hospital provided towels. I didn't wash my hair, though, as washed before I went in, and as I had an elective section I didn't get sweaty as such. In the UK. X
