Nursery

We're late into the nursery idea but my favourite nursery is pack lunch only and I don't remember seeing a table or anything for them to sit at. I think that and spare clothes don't stay at nursery and my son would be in nappies there (he still has multiple accidents a day) is really putting me off but the second 2 points seem to be every nursery we look at đź«Ł How do I know the nursery is the right nursery for us and my child

Generally spare clothes would go into the bag u would take everyday to nursery, theyd put dirty clothes in a nappy sack back into the bag - But I think go off the feel of the nursery, when u visit did ur child seem comfortable? We’re the staff engaging with the children? Did the children seem engaged and happy? X

Same as above, spare set of clothes in a bag that sits on their peg. They let us know when they've had to change them and we take it home to wash and replace. The feel, you can just tell from the children that are there. We visited an immaculate nursery, but the staff didnt bat an eyelid at our daughter and there wasn't much playing, if that makes sense. When we saw the one we chose kids were running around enjoying themselves, one covered in flour as they'd been doing an activity with food! You just know. For the nappies, I'd double check as some settings say children must be toilet trained for the preschool room, but not all x

@Courtney thank you. That's fine but taking Welly boots and shoes each day plus the bag plus lunch seems a lot of things to potentially forget đź«Ł but the staff were great with my child and all the children and staff there seemed really happy and could tell the place was played in.

@Steph the nursery we looked at age 2-5 are all in one room. They suggested him still being in pull ups but would be fine prompting and taking to the toilet too. We typically use underwear at home but still many accidents when out use pull ups. But the children and staff all seemed so happy there

Just have a designated nursery bag. I just bring it home each day, just take out any dirty clothes and replace, so I don't have to look for wellies etc every day they just stay in the bag.
