Ive gone for the “VTech RM7787HD Over-The-Cot Smart Monitor” as a cheaper alternative to the Nanit… I saw it on Argos for £220 reduced to £170 the other day 😊 Can’t comment on how good it is, because I haven’t used it yet, but it’s got good reviews online!
Most of my friends have babies and they’ve all said don’t waste money on really expensive ones! I’ve gone for a v-tech one that cost me like £50, still has the room temp ect and isn’t done off of WiFi
I have a V-Tech and it’s really good BUT they don’t sell replacement chargers for the actual screen so after two years of use (and a toddler that ragged the cable about a lot) we basically couldn’t use it anymore. I still have the camera plugged in overnight because it still plays the white noise but yeah super annoying that you can’t get the replacements x
I gifted my sister the mom cozy baby monitor and she really likes it. Later down the line you can always add another camera and split the screen for more than 1 child. Also a lot cheaper than the nanit!
