Potty training

Where are you all on potty training? My girl has no interest at all. I want to try to get her more interested and wanting to try. I am due in July and would love to get the brunt of it out of the way before the baby comes. I also don’t want to force her if she’s not ready. She has her own potty in the bathroom and will play with it and “flush” it. Our toilet seat has a built in small kid seat that we have tried sitting her on a couple times when she tried to climb up. The second she sits she wants to get down. I don’t want to push if she’s not ready but also buying double the diapers just isn’t appealing 😆 Just looking to hear from others in a similar boat. TIA!

Our babies are still really young so she might just not be ready! My daughter has an older sibling so I think that's increasing her interest in pottying. I'm planning to potty train in early April I think. I'm prepping her by talking about it, reading books, and watching shows about using the potty. We did the naked method with my oldest and stayed home for 3 days to solidify it. It was cold turkey "bye bye diapers" (except for sleep) and she did great. She was 21 months. My sep 23 baby will be 19 months early April so I am a little worried that could be too early, but my mom said since she watches her sister she might catch on. We followed Big Little Feelings potty learning plan and they recommend 20-30 months old

Same, my girl has no interest at the moment. I'm going to start reading her more books and get the Ms Rachel Bean bear doll. Will probably start being more serious about it at 20 months.

Well my daughter is a premie but she definitely isn’t ready for potty training, our pediatrician said he’ll talk to us more about it at her 2 year old check up.
