Supposed to be when they have teeth so between 7-12 months But mine still haven't gone we're scheduling asap because we're behind for both my kids 🤦🏾‍♀️

We've gone to our first dentist appointment just last week

I was going to do it shortly after his first birthday but when I went to schedule the appointment I discovered that I forgot to add him to my insurance. 😭 So I am just going to wait till he is two, unless I have a cause for concern. I've been brushing his teeth daily since he turned 10 mo.

Just did mine and Shes 14 months. Dentist said they recommend 6 months

I believe six months of age. My son had his first appointment two months ago.

We didn't take our son til he turned 3 because the pediatrician paints fluoride on their teeth. We also brush at home daily, so our doctor saw no need to go earlier

I was told when first teeth show and then at 18 months for first appointment by our pediatrician...I have been told that some dentists do not schedule until about 18 months or later since babies don't always sit well in the chair. I still need to find a dentist that takes his insurance and schedule an appointment.

His first tooth. That was at 11 months
