Does anyone in Scotland that has went private for an FET how long it takes for the transfer after the first consultation!
I have my consultation on Friday 28th March. I have been told there is a 4-5 month wait does that seem about right? I’m hoping that’s worse case scenario. Just desperate to get started.

It’s the fertility clinic at the royal infirmary. Yeap I have I am assuming they will go through the same protocol for this FET as they did for my first. What clinic did you go too?.
I used the GCRM fertility clinic. And i thought the process was quite quick. We had some embryos in storage that we needed to transfer from England and that was the longer part of the process.
Ah ok, wonder why I was told 4-5 months. I had initially said we would like to do a transfer around May time and she said that won’t happen. Must just be a pretty big waiting list. Are you expecting or have any kids just now?

Mine was quite quick but I guess it depends the clinic and how busy they are. Take it you already have been through the egg retrieval etc? If it is a clinic you haven't used before, they might ask you to do some testing etc. Before they can book you in.
