Just wait šŸ’•

My little boy was born on 3rd March via elective c-section and I honestly donā€™t think I have ever been more in love. I have spent a lot of pregnancy being anxious about becoming a mum, but I neednā€™t have worried as I couldnā€™t have asked for a better experience so far. Sorry for the soppy post, but for any first time mums who might be feeling anxious about their impending arrivals - youā€™ve totally got this, yes there are tough days but just wait until your little one looks into your eyes for the first time, thereā€™s nothing like it šŸ„¹ Picture of my gorgeous boy for the likes!

Congratulations! He is beautifulšŸ„° How was your elective C section experience?

@Hridzi it was a lot better than I had expected. I opted for an elective as I didnā€™t want an induction at 41 weeks but I was anxious about my choice the closer it got šŸ˜‚ I was well looked after by the medical staff and they explained every part of the process so that my partner and I knew what was going on. It was only about 15 minutes into the operation before our boy was born, so I barely noticed what was going on for the rest of the time!

@Hridzi I have been impressed with the recovery so far, I was up and walking around the following morning and we were discharged after one night in hospital. There is obviously pain and you have to be careful with not doing too much too soon, but as long as I keep on top of my pain medication Iā€™ve felt relatively normal.

He is adorable ā¤ļø

@Chloe elective c section is the best as I end up having 3 failed inductions. Finally c section was the next option. Itā€™s a good experience
