@Amanda when were you looking to start? I offer one on one tutoring during the summer when I’m off. I’ve been in education for 10 years K-5, currently working as an instructional coach.

I would target what she’s struggling with first if it’s a periodic thing. Maintenance, I would hire a tutor who is an actual teacher in that field. Kumon just hires highschool students or college students. The training was very general as I remember it. If she is overall great, I’d stay on top of next year’s curriculum so that she’s ahead for next year.
If you’re wanting a tutor, Kumon is not it. It’s an enrichment program. The locations I’ve been to, there is only a tutor working directly with the younger children. The older children work independently and get feedback on the worksheets provided. Which honestly in my opinion you can get the same from IXL. As an educator myself, I don’t think it’s worth the money. That’s just my personal opinion.
