Misleading tests

Over a week late for my period Digital tests are telling me pregnant. Either say ‘pregnant’ or ‘pregnant 1-2’ Standard pink line tests are showing not pregnant. Any ideas why this would be? Could be a chemical pregnancy?

Do you have pictures of the strip tests?

The bottom line test is defo positive looks like the other could be invalid. I wouldn’t have thought you’d get a false positive on a digi test. Have you re taken a line test with fmu?

The Tesco ones are the worst I only got a proper line on it when my clear blue went to 2-3 xxx

Tesco and Asda own brand tests both negative. I think it might be a chemical pregnancy but still showing on the clear blue weeks test for some reason

I can kind of see a line on both of them. Very strange, just keep retesting on the strip tests x

Are the digital ones more sensitive?

Digital is usually less sensitive. Tesco Home brand tests have the worst reviews from people saying effect when HCG is high and picked up really well on other tests these so test almost negative. Please don’t assume a chemical. Test on a credible test such as FRER and update us!

I’ve had bleeding this evening so I think it’s a miscarriage, my second in the last few months 😢. Thank you all for responding.

I tested negative last on the 14 of Nov and had light bleeding the 18th and now the 27th last night I tested positive and again today and mine is saying 2-3weeks x

I’d get a blood draw to confirm. Let us know how you get on hun. Sending lots of love xx

@Yog I know I’d like to but nhs said they can’t do anything this early on anyway. X

@Amy are you still having what you think is a period?

@Yog no I’m actually pregnant I tested positive on the 27th

@Amy that’s amazing!! Congratulations!!! I’m made up for you!!
