I had hardly any side effects (just some bloating really) and the injections weren't at all that scary after the first one. I am naturally an anxious person so I built the anxiety up and thought I would struggle but I surprised myself and it was all fine. With the retrieval itself, I had mild cramps and some light bleeding but resting well and drinking lots of water helped. The hard work has all been done when you get to egg retrieval too. You can just sit back for that part! You will be fine 🤞
@Jodi thank you ♥️
@Patrice that’s good. Thank you ♥️
Same here! I was super nervous but had no side affects and was fine after the retrieval just had mild celos that were gone after a couple of hours. It helps that it’s all for a very exciting reason too!
All of it was totally fine - honestly you will be fine. Nothing tops pushing a watermelon out of you so just see it as the easy part 😂 I wish you all the best, stay positive and manage your anxiety and you can do this 💪🏼💪🏼
It’s actually easier than it seems. I used a numbing cream for the first few and got used to it real quick. Needles are so tiny it isn’t really painful. I’m the type of person who enjoys sedation 🙈 and never had any issues. Very good luck with your round, think of the joy which waits for you one day 🐣😊
As far as it goes for me, for the injections, i only had bloating and mood swings. As far as the egg retrieval goes, i had light bleeding afterwards and I felt fine just felt very sore which went away after a few days. Good luck to you!
