Feeling guilty if you have a slow, at home day?

Me and LO get out all the time, do lots of fun activities, and go to lovely places. However, if we have a totally at home day I feel guilty. Is it ok to have a home day sometimes?! She’s 4mo

Absolutely! I make sure we have one day a week in the house or in the garden (bar a walk) - figure we should make the most of being able to be at least a bit quiet before they’re running all over the place x

Absolutely although I do get the guilt. We were supposed to go to something today but it got cancelled and I'm so tired I could really do with a chill day but little one has decided to refuse to nap and spend all morning screaming 😔 I've not had a shower in 3 days because he's gotten very clingy and screamy and I'm desperate for him to go down for a nap so I can have one and maybe 10 minutes of quiet

Absolutely! They get a lot out of spending time with you and activites indoors. So don’t feel guilty at all! If we have a home day I try to do one led activity. So we do some tummy time with a water tray, or sand, messy play, painting etc
