Same here except you sound way braver with going out than I am! I’m just spamming tummy time
I struggled with this with my first too! My Jan ‘25 baby is my second and it is absolutely no longer an issue haha. Shows how different babies are, my first needed constant interaction whereas my second is happy to observe mostly with interactions here and there. She likes when im on the phone too as i can look at her as im talking, and she talks back, it’s very cute. We also have one of those galaxy projector lights which she absolutely loves. Also if you’re looking for places to go - somewhere with different ceilings/ lights are always a winner - ikea, malls etc. This stage seems to last forever at the time, but i promise it goes as quickly as they say!
My little boy really loves looking down at me so we often play with me laid on my back. I stand him up on my belly and talk to him or sit him down on top of me and let him hold my thumbs so he can practice holding himself up and improve arm strength. I keep my knees up behind him in case he throws himself backwards. We just chat and sometimes he purposely throws himself forward to attack me which he finds really entertaining 😂 i got a lot of laughs from him last night cause he was drooling on me
I also play music while I do the chores and take little dance breaks which my baby loves. He tries to join in as well, especially when I get down to his level in the bouncer. We also sing along together. Well he babbles along lol and when we're tired I prop him up in front of the TV and he likes to watch lilo and stitch but only for 30 mins max then he gets bored and wants cuddles
Tummy time, walks, rolling practice, reading, singing, I also do stretches / very gentle yoga over my baby while he’s on the play mat, think he weird poses are entertaining for him 😆 When he’s fussing, I pop him in a woven wrap on my back so I can do things - he either sleeps or looks around watching the world ☺️ xx
Mum of 11 week old struggling too 🙋🏼♀️😅
