Fit to fly note

Has anyone travelled with Ryanair beyond 28 weeks of pregnancy? Did they accept a fit-to-fly letter from your GP, or did you need to print and have their specific form completed by your doctor?

I flew at 27/28 weeks, didn’t need a fit to fly and nobody asked anything! I was also told by my midwife that they no longer do fit to fly letters?

@Natasha This is what I found on Ryanair’s website, but it doesn’t clearly state whether they accept a fit-to-fly letter from my GP or if they require their own sample form to be filled out by my GP. My question is about this dilemma.

Ahh sorry. I worked for other airlines (not Ryanair)and we used to accept gp or midwife fit to fly. If Ryan air have their own form I would give that to your gp or midwife xx

Looking at their website they have there own form x

Didn’t fly Ryan air but flew easyJet at 27 and 28 weeks pregnant wasn’t even asked for a fit to fly and my midwife gave my fit to fly with no issues at all xx

Hey Nora. I have flown with Ryan Air at 29/30 weeks and to be honest they didn’t ask about the fit to fly despite me having it just in case. The midwife said there shouldn’t be any issues even showing the screen shot that I had on my phone and Ryan air didn’t ask me. I didn’t need anything printed in addition. Hope this helps 🙂

Thank you so much all!!😘

I flew yesterday and am 28 weeks today. This is my second and I feel a lot bigger than I was at this stage with my first (ie while I am a small build overall, I probably look more than 28 weeks). Nobody mentioned it!
