Birth Control

I'm 31 with a 3 month old & a 7 yr old. I have made it extremely clear with my Husband that I ABSOLUTELY DO NOT want any more kids. He seems to think the pullout method is effective... WRONG! & I don't want to leave anything to chance. I have suggested condoms, spermicide, female condom, abstinence (but I knew that would be shot down lol). We've talked about the mini pill since I'm breastfeeding. At first I didn't want to take it bc there was a notice in the fine print about it possibly affecting milk supply. Knowing now that my Husband is not willing to actively prevent pregnancy on his end, I guess it's all up to me🙄 I started taking it two days ago & I haven't noticed a drop just yet. (MY supply was already hit and miss before I started) What are some things I can do to avoid a drop in my supply? Has anyone here that's taken it, seen side effects I should look out for?

I would just get a hysterectomy. I've already decided that when 35-40 I'm getting one. Not spending my whole life on birth control and I definitely do not want kids after 35.

I take the mini pill while ebf! I found putting flax seeds in my daily oatmeal helped my supply so much! I also drink the fair life protein shakes and drink nearly a gallon of water a day. I’ve heard brewers yeast is easy to add to smoothies or oatmeal too that will help with supply but I haven’t tried it personally.

Absolutely do not get a hysterectomy… that is an extremely invasive procedure and there are much more less invasive effective ways to avoid pregnancy. Like getting your tubes tied. You should not remove your womb as it can lead to early menopause, loss of sexual desire, depression, infection, scar tissue that is extremely painful, and a skew of other terrible problems. Not to mention you can also begin to developed facial hair…

My husband is getting a vasectomy. I had the baby, least he can do 😂

I'm the same. 7 year old and 4 month old. I want one more but I wanna wait 1 or 2 years. I'm 31.

@Fel Okay! 🤣
