Episiotomy

Not sure if the two are linked but has anyone found since having an episiotomy (7 months pp now) tampons don’t go in / stay in well? Not sure if it’s linked to having an episiotomy at all but I’ve noticed tampons don’t feel like they go in or stay in well at all!

Mines just super uncomfortable so I've given up for a while. Goes in but just doesn't seem to sit right or feel right, comes out after half an hour as it's just too uncomfortable 🤦‍♀️

I’ve also found that with tampons it’s like relearning how to use one. They’re a lways sitting in an uncomfortable way now.

I recommend the DIVA CUP!!!

Have you had any symptoms of prolapse? Even if mild? I didn't have an episiotomy, but tearing that was stitched. But it was a mild prolapse which caused the discomfort with tampons. I seen a pelvic floor physio, which helped. Just a thought ?
