I was on it on the past when I was 16 and completely fine and then the pill was completely fine for years and years before my son, afterwards has been a completely different story though
I was the exact same, I bled 6 months straight on the pill with pelvic pains, I couldn’t figure out what caused the bleeding so I tried coming off the pill and it completely stopped. So I am going to come off again, it’s just a shame, when I google it, it does say people can experience light bleeding however I’m experiencing heavy bleeding :(
I bled until I was prescribed transaemic acid for a week for it then once it stopped it didn't come back x
Are you on the single or combined pill. I've only ever taken the combined pill, not had an issue with bleeding while taking it. There are different mixes so a different one might work better for you.
It’s the one with one hormone in, single I believe 🙈
Ah I did that with my last one too @Samantha im going to stop taking it and see if the bleeding stops once it’s out of my system if it doesn’t I will head to the doctors, it’s nice to know I’m in the same boat as others
@Kelsey PID? Depo related?
@Taylor still not sure. I hate doctors and thought it would go away on its own and it hasn't. Set up and appointment got a referral for an Ultrasound. Panicked haven't set up the appointment. I...should go do that while we are on the subject.
Depo fked me up. After that I stopped taking any birth control cuz that was insane
Alright. This thread helped me finally schedule that appointment. So thank you for that. 🤞🤞for some answers.
Fingers crossed for you 🥰
Can you take the combined pill? When I tried the progesterone only pill I bled constantly and they advised that the injection was just a lower dose of this so I’d likely continue to bleed on that
That makes sense as to why I bled on both and gives me a better confidence in trying something new 🥰
I haven't tried the pill yet but the depo messed me up so badly. I bled for 3 months straight and have had pelvic pain problems ever since. I've been off of it for a year next month. 0 out of 10 do not recommend.
