Birth control

I’m trying to figure out what form of birth control to use. I was thinking the copper iud but then I read too much into it and got scared. Then my doctor prescribe arovela the pill but learned it’s a combo pill and it affects my milk supply I feel like very overwhelmed by my options can someone tell me what options they use and if they’re happy I know everyone’s different but I’m so scared about getting pregnant again so soon.

This is just me - but I’m planning on the mirena IUD (and if it somehow causes supply issues I’ll get it removed) - reasons - I’ve had it before and affects mood less than the pill, it lasts 7 years and don’t have to remember to take something every day

Like Kate, I'm getting an IUD but mine is the Kyleena. It lasts 5 years which fits into our plan of trying for the next baby in 4 years so I don't need as much hormones as provided by the Mirena IUD. I had the Mirena before this pregnancy and was very happy with it. The convenience of not having to take a pill every day makes the IUD my preferred form of birth control.

You can get prescribed a pill that is safe for breastfeeding! If that is the route you want to go. My husband is just getting ✂️ because we are done 💕 I told him if he doesn't want anymore kids then he needs to get snipped because I'm done with birth control I've done the ring, shot, and pill (I won't do implants) and I've always battled depression. I love myself off the hormones and have no depression issues. Every person is different, so you just need to find what works for you.

I’m doing copper. What did you read that scared you?
