Period pants

Does anyone use period pants, and how do you find them. I've just been diagnosed with a auto immune system that affects that area, so I'm thinking these might be better than using pads (as a lot of pads are now fraganced) Do you just wash them as normal?

Yes, I used them before I got pregnant, they are great!! You can get them from lots of different places now for different flow types too!! I just wash them in the machine (separate to other clothes) on a higher temp wash setting! They are super easy and a total game changer xx

Yes I use them and would recommend them. I use WUKA they work well for me and I have very heavy periods. I wash them in the washing machine as normal. They have changed my periods as they make things so much easier

Yes I use and as said above there's loads of brands and types now so you can try a few different ones to find what's most comfortable for you. I wash normally with the rest of our clothes and never had any issues x

I used them before getting pregnant and found them to be much nicer than pads. But I would use it for the day and then wear pads at night just to break it up (rather than putting on a clean pair of period underwear at night) just because I feel like the pads give you a bit more breathing room! I also have reusable pads and I put them all in the wash with the regular clothes. There are some brands of the pants that have a soft Lacey bit around the top, would recommend that as it’s easier on the period pain bloated belly!

You can also try reusable pads. They are usually cheaper than period underwear. Personally, I use a cup and have period underwear as a backup (which I don't need but too scared to drop)

Yes I use them, you shouldn’t wash them above 30 so I do a quick cold rinse with them and then they get washed with everything else.
