Mini Pill

How long did it take you to get pregnant after stopping the mini pill? I can’t track my cycle, as I don’t have a period yet. I have been off the mini pill for 4 weeks now and didn’t bleed at all whilst taking this. (although appreciate this isn’t a usual period anyway) I have read fertility can go back to normal straight away in some cases. I am not overly worried at the moment, as it’s only been 4 weeks. It would be nice to know others experiences though!

I got pregnant within 3 to 4 weeks. Came off it immediately had some bleeding, then got pregnant. I did have a work colleague who came off the mini pill didn’t get a period for a number of weeks, went to the doctors because she was worried only for them to do a pregnancy test and say that she was pregnant. So it can happen without you getting your period back. Good luck!

It took me three full cycles which surprised me by coming back relatively regularly right away. Stopped the mini pill in September, had periods in October, November and December and found out I was pregnant early Jan. :)

It varies from person to person. It can take a year for your body to return to normal after contraception. I had a breakthrough bleed, then nothing for another couple of months. Try not to stress x

About 14 months for me after stopping the mini pill. They do say it can be up to a year for your body to full clear it and return to ‘normal’ but that’s still not helpful knowledge when you cant conceive and just feel disappointed each month.

Glad to read these has I’ve stopped mine after being on it for nearly 8 years and wanting to try for another baby now. So I’m not on my own waiting for my body to do something

I got pregnant on the mini pill for missing one pill lol …if you miss a pill you can get pregnant so completely stopping it, it can be right away

I got my period on the mini pill regularly. I stopped the pill and allowed one full cycle to happen before we started to try. After that period ended, we became intimate again and only slept together twice in that cycle. I got pregnant the literal first time we had sex that cycle. Now I do have to mention that I am very fertile and get pregnant easily. I'm the person who cannot mess up their pill, otherwise I'll end up pregnant. I expected to get pregnant quickly after stopping bc.
