Job situation

Hi, So I’ve been applying for jobs for a while and keep getting rejected. I’ve been updating CV, having appointments with career advisors, doing everything I could. I’ve been off work for almost two years due to being made redundant around the time I found out about my pregnancy. So since then I’ve been a SAHM up until I decided to take my son to nursery. I just needed to do something for myself, even if for only a couple of hours a week. However, I’m finding it super difficult to find something for two days a week of a couple of hours, even if remote. I’d really appreciate some kind of advice or support, if someone is/been going through this.

I've had the same thing! Every rejection has been you are great but we need more flexibility. Turns out it's easier for my husband to work overtime and I stay at home. I still keep an eye out for easy part time jobs though and I'll keep trying until I get one x

Look for care jobs?

Yes care jobs normally offer bank work so you can choose your shifts. Join a few agencies. Also cleaning jobs are you good for a couple of days a week. Thing about part time work is that employers have to ensure that what they spend on onboarding someone is going to be worth their time, so I understand why some are asking for flexibility.
