Holiday owed?
Does anyone now how to work out annual leave accrulment? My companies holiday starts on 1st Jan, I will be leaving on 3rd march. He’s said he’s due to only pay me for the unused BH of 1st Jan. as that’s banked as I’m on mat leave. But I’m sure you accrual holiday while on annual leave, I worked it out to be 3 days in total, Including Jan 1st. Usual I work 5 days 37.5 hours
Divide your yearly allowance by 12. That’s how many days you accrue each month. So if you’re entitled to 24 days holiday (+bh) you’d be entitled to 2 days per month + bh if it falls in that month.
