Low Papp A
Has anyone had experience with being diagnosed with low Papp A?? Midwife called today with blood results and told id have to start aspirin however im Asthmatic and I’m unsure if it’s safe to take or not??

Do you know what your result was? I was told mine is low at 0.44 but have been told not to worry…
@Aoife that’s okay! Anything below is 0.5 is low, mines 0.3 xx
Mine was fine but due to my age (32) and my high BMI I’ve been put on aspirin also. Always talk to your local midwife if you’re worried, that’s what they are there for. You’re just as important.

I have and I’m on aspirin daily, it’s safe in pregnancy but your pharmacist will be able to advise about the asthma xx
