Full time

Are there any full time mummas here? I feel like most of the mums I know that are teachers only teach 3/4 days a week but I need to work full time to pay our mortgage as my partner had to make a career change 😴 when I say we are struggling, I mean I’m literally in and out of my overdraft every month just with buying essentials. It’s draining and I feel like everyone else at work is going on holiday’s left right and centre, buying this that and the other with massive houses and here we are just going pay to pay 👋🏼 My little boy is 18 months and hoping to have another in the next working year 🤞🏻 Anyone else working full time for the money?

I was part-time (0.8) before I had my little one and I've stayed on that since I had him. However my colleague who had a baby around the same time as me has stayed full time so it's definitely doable! Hang in there!

I will be going back full time in just under 2 weeks. I can't afford to drop days as the main income earner. Most of the teachers in my school, including parents, are full time too.

I’ve been 0.6 but I’m increasing to 0.9. I’ve got my PPA from home and the other half day off so get a day off each week for only a small drop in pay. Would this work?
