The first 1.5 years i had my IUD I continued to bleed. Dr said it wasn't typical but not necessarily a "problem" other than an inconvenience. Definitely talk to your Dr about your bleeding and see if it is cause for concern. It is going to take time for your body to get used to it so some bleeding and hormonal changes are normal in an adjustment period but your Dr should have told you that
I have in a IUD. It’s good for ten years. The doctor said it would make cramps worse but I don’t have cramps
@Dairian did you bleed when first getting it? If so how long?
I am on the patch. One patch on weekly for three weeks of the month, no patch for the last week. I used to be on the pill, but I couldn't remember taking it everyday. I really do like it so far. I believe I've been on it for a little over a year now.
@Angelique ♎ is the week off considered your period week? Any side effects you have?
I used the IUD for 10+ years and no regrets here. I used the Nuba ri g too and it's super easy to use as well.
