Cat litter box

This is what I am afraid of with my kiddo.

I mean they should be old enough at this point to be reasoned with. Just tell them that the litter box has pee and poop in it and they'll get sick if they touch it. Then you can give them another task they can do to help with the cat, like feeding it.

honestly we’d have hope that they can control themselves but I have a gate inbetween my bathroom and everything in the bathroom is quite not baby proofed lol and that’s where the litter box goes. thankfully if I ever leave the gate open and my son bolts in, he dives for the vaseline and lotion haha. I would advise to set yourselves up for success and get a baby gate for a room, bathroom seems logical and put that stuff in there. then everyone is happy and no rehoming animals 💕

or put the litter up high like on top of a dryer if you have an option like that. if you want tips on where to put it in your specific space that’s safe and doesn’t involve anything to limit space that I’ve mentioned, feel free to message me, I can be quite creative! my insomnia pregnant mind loves digging at issues like this in the dead of night 😂😴
