How would you feel

I was on FaceTime with my dad the other day and my son was playing and dropped his cereal on the living room floor and I had vacuumed early so really didn’t mind it. But the face on my dad was of disgust and he told him no but my toddler kept going. I feel STRONGLY about his face reaction as it’s not that serious. (No one is ever in our home but us yes we were shoes but I had clean I just in moment didn’t feel like it was needed) and made me feel really bad about myself or parenting or idk just in general I did not like it. I am getting so sad. Realizing my son is almost three and it’s really just been the three of us (his dad) he has no other constant.

So your dad was on the phone and your worried he’s upset about spilt milk? I wouldn’t worry, send him a video of you cleaning it up 😂🤣

@Katy nooooo not at. My toddler was eating dry cereal captain chunch as a sweet treat while on FaceTime. As the cereal fell on the carpet my toddler picked it up and ate them. My dad was making faces while my toddler was eating and it rubbed me the wrong way, shortly said i had to get off.

I wouldn't read too much in to it, some people just find eating off the floor disgusting. I would have no problem with it knowing it's my house and it's clean but my husband would still probably pull a face and jump in to stop the floor eating, we're just different.

I’d pull a face too if I saw a child eat off the floor 🤣 I bin stuff my child drops on table 😅 I clean about 4 x a day lol x

Dry cereal that rolled off the floor and he picked right up yeah I don’t mind 😂
