Hopelessly searching…

I’m currently 31 weeks pregnant and am shamelessly hoping to find the yin to my yang. I recently lost an incredibly close friendship of 9 years with one of the most amazing and beautiful souls I’ve ever known. Sure, I have other girlfriends and while I admire them and appreciate their friendship, it’s just not the same. While I know that nothing and no one could ever possibly replace the intense bond I shared with the friend I lost, I have felt so alone and hopeless since our fallout. Being pregnant and losing my best friend has broken my soul in ways I cannot put into words, and as you can imagine the hormones are not helping with my mental wellbeing. I’m a pretty laid back lady although I love getting glammed up to go places, even if it’s just thrifting or antiquing or brunch. I’m an avid reader, crafter, wine enthusiast, lover of all animals and 9 times out of 10 you’ll find me wearing a dress with my nails done, pedi on point and eyelashes for days. I believe in treating others how you want to be treated, being the type of friend you want in return, and if someone disrespects you-tell me where to meet and I’ll bring the shovels.

I lost my best friend about 5 years ago because she didn’t like my boyfriend (now husband). I was absolutely heartbroken that she would drop our friendship of 9 years over something like that. We went through so much together and it was like going through a romantic break up. I’m so sorry you lost your friend, I know how hard it is. Unfortunately I live in Cali 😭

@Danielle My best friend chose a small trip she. Could have taken any other time of the year over coming to my wedding and being my maid of honor. That’s when I knew she was jealous and bitter, she was never the same after that.

I’m so sorry this is heartbreaking. I lost my best friend of over 20 years a few years ago, when I was in the thick of post partum depression. The words that cut the worst were that I wasn’t fun anymore, and I felt like too much work. I had supported her through a horrendous divorce and loved her so much. It’s like they are dead, so I’m with you honey, especially when you are going through such a life change. I’m in Australia but always up for a chat ❤️❤️
