What are reasons that you feel like everyone is always trying to compete with you

This is such a good question! I have a friend who actually tends to try to one up everything I say when I'm updating her on my life or she tries to like take anything positive attention-wise off of what I say when I have good news or anything like that it's extremely exhausting and makes me feel unheard I wouldn't say she competes with me but I do feel like there's some underlying jealousy and attention seeking coming from her. .

@Ana I am so sick of it because it’s very exhausting. It’s my sister as well. She does the same thing and now I’m just like what in the world is going on is it something that I’m saying to make everyone feel as if they wanna compete with me in terms of livelihood, beauty, etc

Yeah I mean I feel like in this world we live in social media tick tock and everything everyone's always trying to look for outside validation and it causes a lot of self-esteem issues and I get feel like that gets projected into our real day today life socializing if that makes any sense.. I certainly understand how exhausting that can be like for instance I just honestly wish she would just be happy for me like any good friend would be I honestly have been just taking a break from this friend that I was mentioning maybe you should take a break from your sister for a little while just to put some space there 🫶🏽

And honestly I have got rid of all my social media this is like the only social app I have and that has been such a breath of fresh air for me honestly because I've always kind of felt that type of energy on even things I would share about my life in post and stuff it's just not worth that type of stress or energy getting into your life you know..🫶🏽 it's definitely been a big part of my healing

And even when this app can become overwhelming cuz there are a lot of mom bullies out there I kind of just like undownload it and whenever I'm feeling like I could use the app I will download it if that makes any sense
