No village here either, you are not alone! 🫶🏽 Just literally me and my husband.

Yes and no. Single first time mama. I have family not too far but they also have their own kids etc so I can vent and text but I can’t tap out with anyone x

Nope no village. In laws have died. Parents live an hour and a half away. Friends are all busy

No village here either, it’s just me my kids and my partner he works full time tho. I don’t have any friends either. You’re definitely not alone with feeling overwhelmed. I hope your okay x

Thank you mamas 💕 I don’t feel so alone - I may set up a group if anyone would be interested for venting / group chats and things if anyone would be interested You are all doing amazing

Just my husband and I. Family live in Australia. All friends let this city during lockdowns. If I need help, I have to pay for it.

Same here, no village, just me and my partner 😭 both in-laws passed away within the last three years and my parents live in a different country so we see them once a year when they come to visit. My partner isn’t the most involved father either despite me voicing my complaints about it often (but in all honesty, more often than not, my little girl doesn’t actually want to do things with him, even when he does try harder as I’m definitely the default parent and she’s a mama’s girl) so most of the childcare and chores fall on me and I also work four days a week. Like someone said above , when I need help I have to pay for it and I am tired all the time, I have no respite, ever 😫 You’re definitely not alone in this.

Nope, my parents live an hour away, my in-laws live 30mins away but aren't in the best of health
