FET

Hey girls, I’m on my 4 day of IVF injection and my doctor told me to do a short protocol freeze all as my AMH is a little bit high and could develop OHSS symptoms. How long after egg retrieval did you have your FET? I don’t have any side effects yet, I can only see a bit of weight gain but for sure it’s water retention even because I’m trying to drink at least 1.5 litre of water as the Dr recommend it. I’m with guy’s hospital in London

@Nicola you mean after the first bleed or 2 bleed ? Because the Dr the first time said it’s better to wait 2 bleed and then the nurses are telling me 1 bleed 😳

I was with Guys for our first cycle. They told me I could come through for FET on my withdrawal bleed after egg collection (they count withdrawal bleed as start of fresh cycle) So I had my FET 4 weeks after retrieval which wasn’t successful. I believe it was way to soon as had 36 eggs collected x

@Laura how did you find it there? Was the egg collection painful? I’m going on Monday for the scan and they will tell me when to do egg collection. I don’t know if maybe I should wait 2 cycles before doing the transfer or doing it after the first bleed, I’m so confused 🫤 Sorry for the questions I’m just a bit worried if I could develope OHSS x
