Pregnant carers?

So I'm a self employed carer my client I aid to get out of bed - she is disabled and has no use of arms and legs. I give her full body wash, dress her and use a sling to get her into her chair. 9 month funding scheme

Does anyone know if you have to have returned to work from maternity leave to be entitled to the 30 hours a week funding scheme? I’ve put my baby in to start nursery in December because I wanted him to settle in before I start back at work in January but now I’m worried I’ll have to pay the full amount.

Part Time

Has anyone dropped to part time work instead of full time to spend more time with baby/kids? Just curious if it feels like you have more time with them or just pulled in all directions all the time. I’m considering a 3-day work week instead of full time.
