I had a reading 170/110 today 😳 I have been freaking out because my TSH levels are super high for my thyroid and worried about miscarrying pretty certain my BP is high due to stress. No real advice but you aren’t alone! After my apt I tried keeping positive thoughts, took some time for my mental health by laying down/relaxing and lighting a candle. Could you have someone come to your apt with you to help distract you and keep you calm if you think it’s stress related?

Different things that I know of are water, meditation, deep breathing exercises, magnesium SRT (idk if safe for pregnancy, and cold pressed juices. I’m going to use sound frequencies as well to help calm my nervous system before my appointment tomorrow! They use this at the vet and hospitals for surgical recovery in my experience. Hope any of this can help 🙏🏽

I have white coat syndrome as well, it’s so annoying lol. Talk to your doctor but I took magnesium taurate during my second pregnancy since I had preeclampsia with my first. Never had blood pressure issues the second time around. I checked my BP daily. It was always normal at home and high in the office.

But I always did breathing exercises before they took my blood pressure. Inhale through nose and exhale through pursed lips. It only really helped a little.

I don’t have blood pressure issues but I do get very bad anxiety especially before appointments and stuff and I personally drink chamomile tea for my anxiety
