@Char no they didn’t say any worries they said that it’s looking good but they want me to come in for a scan on Friday where I’ll only be 6 weeks, so if everything’s good why do I need an early scan?
@Char I’m not complaining about the scan btw, I’m over the moon but it just worried me x
A 6 week scan is to check that baby is in the right position has a fetal pole, sac and a heartbeat. We had ivf and this was always a protocol as part of ivf and continues to be. I'm unsure if you're doing ivf but I assume as you've had hcg checks you are.
@Char no it’s all natural, I requested hcg checks because I recently went through a missed miscarriage and I’m so anxious and scared s
Well it's a precaution then as you requested hcg levels to be checked due to your miscarriage they just want to check everything is ok and progressing how they should be. I understand you're anxious but it may help your anxiety when you know everything looks ok.
The rule of thumb is the hcg levels should double every 48 hours so that has happened here with you. What did your clinic say any worries? Or whereever you had your test done as that's a good professional indicator of there is a worry
