My sons father left us 2 weeks ago and hasn’t seen our little one and doesn’t want to. My son is 2 and half. In the last 2 weeks his behavior has changed, which I guess is to be expected. He’s hitting kicking biting, having tantrum. What can I do? Any advice welcome. And of course keeps calling daddy and crying 😔

I’ve asked him to come see him but he’s refused. And I’ve decided that if he decides he wants to see him I’m not going to allow it as I can’t have inconsistency and hurt for him. And if he can walk away and not care now he can’t actually care for him. Hurts my heart that he can do this to him
I’ve never been in this situation so I’m Sorry I’m not speaking from experience but I don’t think stopping him seeing your child is the right move as this could reflect badly on you later in life. I feel like if you were going to stop him you’d need the courts backing this
