Floor bed

@Stacy is the opening space enough room for him to get in/out without hurting himself ?

These are some of the styles I was thinking about ..

Oh yeah plenty and even enough space for me to sit in that opening as well which I do daily to comb his hair. It originally came with a gate for that opening but we liked it open better so we never put on the gate.

Depending on how wild your LO sleeps you do want to go with railings Without them my toddler would end on the floor every night 😅 We also removed the gate, as she hates it being closed and would play with it 🥴

@Eileen she sleeps kind of wild lol although she never fell off the bed until a couple nights ago so I think she just needs more space. I was thinking something open but also want to keep her safe. I’m so confused lol.

How do you contain him when you just need to put him down for a second without him getting hurt? I really want a floor bed myself it's just going to be so much easier but then I think about that question LOL

@Carol I use the high chair for that one lol

Ours is just a queen mattress on the floor. It’s pushed against the wall into a corner of her room, so only one side and the foot of the bed is open. We use pillows and her stuffed animals as bumpers. Haven’t had any issues with her rolling off. Shes been in it since about 13 months and loves it!
