I had the same experience as Faith. No Braxton Hicks and then back labor. I didn't even know I was in labor until my water broke with my first.
I have them daily since about 27 weeks and I'm just now 32 weeks. But this is my 3rd kid and I'm sure I'll be dilated some when they check me. Was at a 2 when I was 35 weeks with my last pregnancy.... I get some painful ones if I don't go pee often enough....
I’m about to be 34 weeks and also no Braxton hicks so far. I’ve heard some ladies have them and some don’t and it’s completely normal.
I didn’t have them with my first but have been having them often for the last few weeks with my second.
@Katrina What was back labor like for you? I’ve heard that it can be pretty painful compared to “normal” labor.

I didn’t feel any with my first. When I went in for fetal monitoring near the end, they told me I was having them but would have never even noticed. Kinda just felt like normal gas/ bloating. I don’t really have them this time around either and it feels the same. Not a cause for concern, everyone’s body is just different.
Braxton hicks do not hurt. It’s only when ur stomach gets tight only in some parts tho might feel like a rock. it’s just supposed to be annoying not hurting. If you feel a sudden strike in ur vagina that is lighting crotch. Contraction with start in the back and go in the lower front of ur belly might also feel like period cramps
That's normal. I didn't get them with my son but I ended up having back labor and my contractions were like a bad back ache until I got farther into labor
