EBF to combi

Baby was losing weight when EBF so now pumping and topping with formula. We’ve found that he won’t settle as easy now - appears to have stomach ache and just generally grouchy and unhappy. Anyone had similar?

How long have you been giving formula? took my baby a week or two to get her tummy used to it x

Im having similar. Exactly same situation as yours. Also, my baby spits out a lot more milk after feeding, sometimes a few hours later despite winding her and keeping her in sn upright position for about 20 mins after feeding. Hope they settle soon

You could try giving him infacol before every feed, to help break up any wind and discomfort in his tummy, this really helped my little one after feeding as she went through a period of trapped wind and discomfort after every feed, she no longer needs the infacol now as she now managing to bring any wind up

It took my baby a few weeks to get used to the formula, it was rough and I was worried. But now she has no tummy/gas issues at all! If you’re worried, see a GP for peace of mind but I found it just took time to adjust.
