Birth control

Are there any pcos girlies out there? If so what form of birth control is/was suggested to you? I wasn’t on any type of birth control before getting pregnant due to being told I wouldn’t be able to get pregnant. And I honestly don’t want to take the risk of it happening again.

PCOS makes it harder to get pregnant due to not ovulating regularly, but you can certainly get pregnant! I have PCOS and have used the mini pill and Nuva Ring. I don't want anything long-term due to wanting another baby in a couple years

I’ve been told the patch which I was in for over a year and lived was a good one and currently on nextplanon which is good for me because I’m also breastfeeding and so it won’t mess up my supply.

I have pcos and was told it would be hard for me to get pregnant, if I even could get pregnant. Im getting my tubes removed 🤷🏼‍♀️ I’m already about to have four babies💗 I don’t want anymore and definitely don’t want any type of birth control in my body due to the hormones. Ik they have a non hormonal iud but i still don’t even want that🙅🏼‍♀️

None. Diet and exercise is what I did to get pregnant. I only lost 40lbs but it helped

I was on the generic pill for a while since I was first diagnosed with PCOS as a teenager. After having my babies though I was recommended the Mirena IUD, because I have a blood clotting disorder and the pill greatly increases the risk of clots. The Mirena IUD is supposed to be safer for me personally - and I'm glad to not have to stress about taking a pill every single day at the same exact time.

I take Slynd. LOVE IT
