I had the copper coil, was perfect for me. Never had any issues with it, forgot it was even there tbh! Periods after the first couple months were normal in length and flow usually about 4 days long, and were regular every month. I had the same period cramps with it, they werenāt worse. Initially the cramps are bad but that soon went. No pain during sex. Partner never said anything about it either. Anatomy varies between people so some say they can feel it sometimes. I didnāt have any weight gain, acne or wild imbalance of hormones. Iām going to get it again. The good thing is if you try it for 6 months and dislike it you can have it removed easily. So worth a try for sure, but just give it time to settle x
Thank you girls!! How did you find the insertion process with this coil ?X
I found it very uncomfortable honestly. But they said because I hadnāt had a baby yet putting it up through the cervix is more uncomfortable than if I had had a baby. So paracetamol and ibuprofen will be your friend, but it was really quick. Now Iāve had a baby for me itās no worse than cervical checks as for me I found those really uncomfortable too. X

I had bad reactions with all hormonal contraception, copper coil is the only one that worked for me. It's a bit crampy and if you have bad menstrual cramps it makes them worse but other than that it works
